any1 else know anything about these?
This tie-bar/small gear linkage makes possible a shorter shift throw. But this linkage CANNOT give 30% reduced movement... it's a simple lie. Its highest reduction is around 15%.
I wanted to buy one for me but when I realised its price I gave up to buy one. Therefore I designed one (it was a decent job - with CAD and FEM software) for my Williams and a turner made this for me for only one third price of the Sadev version...

Since then I have sold many small gear linkages for Hungarian Renault owners (fitted into GTT, R19 16V, Clio 16V, Williams, R 19 1.9d, Clio 172 etc with 100% satisfaction). Now, I have two versions of this: a shorter and a longer one (left one is the genuine):
The shorter one gives 15% reduced movement but it's needed to modify a bit that gear linkage which connects the gear lever with the small gear linkage. The longer version gives 10% reduced movement and it's very easy to install, no need to modify anything. I call this version plug 'n' go. My quickshift sometimes available on ebay:
Quickshift - longer version
... for only £27 (+postage) and my version comes with a metal bush, not only the small linkage. In January it will be available with new ball joint bearing shells!
But I also have a short shifter kit for Clio 172 which looks like the genuine gear lever but the overall shift throw reduction is 30%.
