172 & Sport the same?

Daft question here from somebody new to Clio Sport but is Clio sport 2.0l the same as a 172??

no as every clio is special to the owner .

Clio sport is a 1.2
Renaultsport Clio is 2lt,
but this could be a 172, 182 or 197

I thought the sport was a 1.2 mk2 with an S where the 2.0 16v is on the RS.
