172 transplant. Advice

I currently have a clio 1.2 'mtv edition'

Would it be possible to swap engines with a 172? Is this realistic?

Can anyone give me any advice on how to go about this?!

i know id need new breaks, suspension, ecu, etc

Have thought about this ever since i bought the car, but never done anything about it.

Like the idea of having a sleeper!....

Waist of time now that ph1 172's can be had for as little as 2k

I know they are going cheap but fancy doing this to my car. Wouldnt touch the interior etc, just keep the rest as it is! keep the 1.2 badges :rasp:

For the money, hassle etc etc, sell up and buy a 2.0l. Fit 1.2 badges to it if thats your bag.
