182 alarm and batt removal

i pick up my 182 on monday and will probably be changing the head unit to my pioneer, but i have heard stories on here that if the batt is not dissconnected it can blow things.

so if i dissconnect the batt does the alarm need to be reset?

If youre going to use the iso connectors there is no need to disconnect the battery.

No alarm does need resetting!

I just changed head unit and I did not need to reset alarm/disc. batteyr or anything.
