182 alarm

hi guys! just a quick question.

i understand the standard 182 alarm immobilisor is cat 1 thatcham approved. whats this standard system like? can it be upgraded-ie full closure on windows or is this a standard feature already? also can i ask what a clifford blackjax is-i have heardit mentioned a few times but am not sure what it is?

The stock system is a Cobra, you cannot as far as I know upgrade it you need a whole new unit.

blackjax stops you being hijacked, basically if your door is opened whilst driving or the engine running your car goes so far then cuts out, your brake lights come on and your alarm start sounding, you also need to enter a code before starting the car or the above happens

Nope not a standard feature and I doubt if the alarm is upgradable.
