182 buying advice needed

  BMW 535D
alrite, im currently looking at buying a 182 for around the £8.5-9k mark, just after a bit of advice really.

ive had a clio 16v before so i know these little cars with big engines can be oh so troublesome!

Just need to know what to look out for really, i know they're relatively new cars but are there any common faults? problems etc?

Would it be best to go for a car with the cup pack (love the wheels!!) what were the additions in the cup pack?

What are running costs like? Fuel consumption? Servicing? etc

Am i likely to get a racing blue one for £8.5k?? lol gorgeous colour

and finally, feel free to post some pics up :)

Most have warrenty, try getting one with as much as possible.

Servicing costs depend where you go, local garge about £140 ish, but Renault dealer you could double that.

Cup is the only way to go IMO cup splitter and spolier are all options.

  MINI JCW
MPG depends on what sort of driving, i usually do A and B roads (non town drving) and I can see anything upto 37mpg although once you start to open it up you are looking at 30mpg. Normally Im looking at about 325 miles to a tank

I would def go for the cup packs, I went for it bascially becuase I prefer the wheels and i belive resale value will be better. Mine has yet to go back to the dealer yet (touch wood) but there are a few common faults on them such as engine knocking and warning lights on dash. They do tend to rattle a little as well.

Overall though they are fantastic value for money, well equipped, they look good and they go well and they are relatively cheap to run and they accelerate pretty well too!
