182 rev's dont drop when changing gear

I recently bought a 182, previously owned a 172.
Last night when changing gear, the revs were not dropping.
For eg I change at 3500k, when dipping the clutch the revs would sit at 3500k until the next gear engaged and dragged the revs back down.
Throttle position sensor maybe?
Also, electrical fault light comes up now and again, car goes into limp mode.
turning ignition on and off again fixes it, until it happens again, but it is intermittent.
ive replaced plugs, ignition coil and leads.... any suggestion I will appreciate

Don't just guess at it. Best to get someone to diagnose it properly.

if the light is coming on, it should have stored a reason code with it. either get the codes read (cheap, not 100% going to tell you the issue) or get a proper diagnostic session sorted (ideally by someone with CLIP) which will tell you exactly what is wrong.

Let us know. I have a annoying rev issue on mine when cold, the revs bounce like 3 times from idle up to about 1800rpm before settling. Does not happen when hot, I tried MAP sensor and cleaning throttle body so far.

does it feel laggy sometimes on a cold?

Dodgy throttle body or drawing air in the inlet gasket would be my first guess

just ordered a new inlet manifold gasket and new throttle gasket, thank you
