182 standard alarm help

ok here goes,

the other day i left my mate in the car when i nipped to the shop, he said the car automatically locked, he moved and set the alarm off, ever since my alarm isnt working, if i lock the doors with the fob then open with the key theres a long continuous beep sound not the alarm going off, also every so often when i press the fob its beeping 3 times

any ideas because its winding me up now

You have to wait 60 seconds from locking the car/arming the alarm before the alarm goes active. Hence why its beeping at you.
As for 3 beeps, search its been covered.
