195/50 V 15

well everyone iv now spoken to has told me that F!'s in this size have now been discontinued, and that they assemetrials(sp) that now replace the F1s are not available in this size, so guys who can recommend me a new tyre to try?

as its winter i would like something with wet grip, thats why i always have chosen the F1s as they grip really well both wet and dry

So pls anyone with 195/50/15's can you give me a recomendation?

Would 205/50 15 fit on a standard Renault wheel? Would there be any noticeable change from a 185/50 15 as i'm looking into getting a set of Toyo T1Rs but not sure on what size to get.

Have heard the Toyo T1Rs are good in the wet (who goes fast in the wet anyway?) and superb in the dry, pretty cheap as well

205s will fit on a 7 inch rim yes

i didnt mean nessesarly(sp) driving fast in the wet, more knowing i have some grip there lol

Ive never had any problems with Exaltos (PE2) in the wet. Theres always loads of grip no matter what the conditions. I did look into 205's for mine but I couldn't justify the price over the 195's.

i have always had T1R's.

the car came with F1's but they were way too soft imo.

didnt last long at all!

yeah my fronts last me around 6000 miles or so, but i havent found a tyre thats better yet
