197 Tyres

My 197 is looking like she'll need some new front tyres soon. What is the best make and choice do we think? Want a general all round tyre. Currently it has the standard Continental's on and they're fading away at approx. 13k miles, so what to replace them with?

I'm sure there are a few threads on this but this is easier for obtaining the info I want.

I have replaced mine twice and done the rounds and tyre reviews ect, but still gone back to the continental's they seem to come up tops.
I can remember when i went on 197 training and they rattled on about the tyres and how only a few other cars use them ect ect, the only thing wrong with them is they dont last very long.

Sounds interesting. I want something that will last. I'm happy with the tyres on the car at the mo (conti's) and can definitely feel the difference now that I need a new one. Lack of grip lol. I'll get some prices then and go from there

I've got Avon ZZ3's on the front of mine at the mo and tbh they are better than the conti's...they only lasted 9k tho...prob wont get that out the Avon's tho...only 80ish a corner, no biggy..

I got my from Protyre, they were the cheapest fitted.
