197's springs being replaced tomorrow...

fault found by dealers on active solutions, anyone else had one? basically its a grinding noise when turning at slow speed and say dropping down driveway

Interesting mate, i get a slight noise on full lock..but then again my local Parks reno are proper cvnt'ish about warranty, they still won't admit my car has the 'cold start' problem and its sluggishness in traffic is a 'feature' of the car!!

parks done the cold start update for me, 2nd time in though for the noise and couldnt find anything on inspection but mechanic agreed had a noise so he checked online and found the fault

Mine has been in twice for the cold start issues and they still claim theres no problem with the car!

Might be worth me taking a trip to Parks in Ayr..

really good guy down there who was the one who found fault, he had a megane trophy and bought his son a 182, may be a good one for yourself to book in for him to look over it for you

Davies spot on and is usually alright with faults like this etc. Well from wat i heard and my dads known him for years
