1st oil/filter change.

been changing the oil/filter,i got the filter off easy with oil filter plier..(removed fuel guard).
I fitted the new filter hand tight..then got rubber gloves to turn it more..
will this be tight enough?(didn't want to use the pliers to tighten it )
also drained oil,put new washer on..i know you have to tighten it to 20nm,but my wrench only starts at 40..
as I don't want to strip the tread,i have tightened it with a wrench...
will this be tight enough?
I cant check for leaks cause it started to pour down.didnt want to put the oil in.

hand tight is fine on the filter and sump plug, 20nm isn't that tight so just nipped up with a spanner will be fine

thanks, just trying to do stuff myself now,,save money.. on the trade here, found millers cfs oil £40 delivered..
also fitted a washer nozzle today,with out taking the bumper off..glued the pipe on.to my amazement it works ,doesn't leak.
didn't want to put a one way valve.. Renault part was only cost £11. never gonna use the washers,just for the mot..
