2-3k idle

Need some thougts and advice.

Today my mate changed my lambda sensor for me and also quickly cleaned the throttle body out.

since the car idles nearly 3k. drives fine, on the clutch biting point its ok too. just as soon as you let it idle it shoots up.

which is it most likely, throttle body or lambda? its on a phase 1 btw.

All hoses put back on the tb?

it was only a proper quick clean with some carb cleaner, we didnt take it right off.

iirc carb cleaner can cause this for a while. maybe take it for a good drive then see? otherwise I would be looking for either over fueling or and air leak

I'm hoping just needs driving through if not and its throttlesil have take it off and clean fully

I'm assuming its more likely the throttle than new lambda?

Been for a good drive and much better so looks like my weekend job is cleaning the throttle properly

Has it settled yet? If not, sounds like an inlet leak so check the TB seal
