2.4ghz equipment conflicts

Hi, has anyone had problems with their routers and other equipment running on 2.4ghz signals. Just asking because we have my wireless router which is a netgear dg8345gt and my parents are looking at getting a wireless outdoor camera to set up over looking the cars but these run on 2.4ghz signals as well.

any1 have any info on this

our phones are 2.4ghz and interfere with channels 10-12 of the wireless, so we use 7 and its fine.

At my parents house they have 2.4ghz X10 Cameras, I found that channel 8 cleared up any pulsing the router was pumping out.

Just play around with the settings, the 11 channels on a router is spread over 83mhz, theres bound to be 1 channel that doesn't cause any interference.

They hate me when i take my wifi phone round there lol

hi thx for the feedback guys, ive been using 11 as i thought that was the fasted for 108mb routers, at least i no i can change the channel.
