Hi all
As @ AlexW is doing my LED conversion. I thought i would get my cleaning toys on @ Ventura PH1 as its been sitting around for a while feeling a bit sorry for itself. So i drove it back to mine after dropping my cup of at alex's. I must say i throughly enjoyed the drive back to mine it really is an epic car. I had to do it over 2 days due to lack of daylight
So day 1 was mainly decontaminating it
So heres the story
Day 1
The car is pretty dirty after sitting around
1st things 1st i started off with a snowfoam with Autobrite magifoam and Autobrite snow lance
Once rinsed off i then shampooed it with Autobrite Purple Velvet and dried it with a uber blue towel
Once dried i then got to work on cleaning the wheels and then sealing with Gtechniq C2 V3 and then sonax nano wheel coating and then glossed the tyres with megs endurance
Then next i started the decontamination with Juicy details bleeding iron & auto finesse oblitarate and megs claybar
So thats pretty much day 1 over so i put a cover on it overnight
Day 2
1st things 1st on day 2 was to get her masked up ready for a heavy machine polish with my DA used with menzerna IP 2100 and lake country pink pad
Swirls were rather bad
So i cracked on with the machine polishing and straight away you could notice the difference as the paint was looking very flat. At this point i havent even glazed it
So then onto the boot
Then i cracked on with the roof
Then glazed with poorboys blackhole and waxed with valet pro beading marvellous
Then i got to work on the trims and exhaust before finishing off
So im pretty much there now. So i finished the rest of the car with PB BH and VP beading marvellous and heres a few shots on how she looks
Then i finished up with cleaning the windows and then sealing with angelwax H2go
Im pretty pleased in how shes come out. Im sure rob will be very happy with it when he sees it. It really is an epic car and now its a very clean glossy car
And as for the bonnet i just sealed it with Gtechniq C2 V3 as i dident fancy attacking it with the machine polisher
Well thanks for looking
