2 questions.....

  Cup Turbo, Flamer
Just a quick 2 questions....

I have a cup and i'm after a bit of samco to go from the inlet to the air filter, does anybody know the bore size i need??

And 2nd question, whats the best way to clean an air filter (i got a BMC)??

Cheers guys

John

Personally, id just get the hillpower bend, as it has the little bit of pipe that comes off and goes to some sensor.

As for cleaning the BMC, take it apart (its easy to do, just unscrew it all and the ends slide out). then just get some sort of brush and clean it, or an air compressor to blow it out.

Cheers david, but i need a 45 degree bend as i've relocated the battery to the boot and want the filter behind the headlamp

ah, well why didnt you say that, lol.

I think the bore size is about 72mm, if you check the hillpower website im fairly sure it will say what bore the 90 degree bend is. :D

  ITB'd GDI Original?
I'm pretty sure it's 76.2 or 3" I.D. Get some good degreaser and lash your air filter with it until clean, dry it out thoroughly, then re-apply some air filter oil. Make sure it's not the red k&n type though.
