2 weeks without the v6...

  Engles Mummy
After getting new tyres, brakes, respray work & warranty work by renault I finally had some time to race it again... and my god don't I love it!

Shame the exhaust is off as I'm putting it up for sale next week!

Going to miss it, but it's time to move it!

Still can’t believe how quick it is, it just keeps on pushing right up to silly speeds, my old cup wouldn't stand a chance against it.

Strongly recommend anyway to upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 (not saying buy mine) but its well worth it!

So on lighter news... how is everyone?

On and off lol

But now it's ready to be shift...

Yea I'll get some final shots & vids of the beast this week.

Snore. You said the Vee sucked c**k about 10 years ago. You've been trying to sell it for 10 times longer than that. Bore off (IMO)

lol Roy. I too thought this had sold a while ago. Any new pics? lol @ how f*cking wide it looks.

Says he who did the "Clios suck, I'm going Honda.... Wait a minute, I am earning so much by catching the bus it would be a waste of VTEC leaving it at 0rpm for so long".

P.S I love diesel x

Plastic Clio with a big engine IMO. Never liked the detail of the Vee up-close. In fact it looks s**t IMO. Good luck selling it after 30 years of bullshit though.

  172 cup
I’m sure I’ve read post's where you (subway) has said it’s not much faster than your old cup before? Or am I wrong?

I also thought you had sold this back when it was advertised but not listed as CAT D. Not trying to burst your bubble but seems a bit dodgy to me.

I agree with a few people in this thread

edit. Don't get me wrong its a great looking Vee

The car was sold. Deposit down on it but the guy couldn't seem to raise the rest of the funds so he had to pull out. After that I decided to keep it until summer was over, then plan put it up again once it's been serviced & all the little bits got sorted out.

As for the next car it will have to be an e46 m3, test drove a couple last week and they are f**king amazing.

My expectations of the v6 before I bought one were so high, which is why it seemed like a great let down on the performance & handling side coming from my old cup. It's a truly great car, but it's not for me....and that’s my final verdict!

I'm at least a couple of years away from being in the pipeline for one, still be interested to know the price of a vee on a cat d though.
I personally wouldn't mind that it was insurance registered, tbh, if it looks, stops and goes straight.

Good call with the m3.

Well looking at 2005 plate v6's with 10-20k on the clock they normally go for 17-20k (depending on colour & condition)

Cat D - Normally takes off 1-3k depending on the damage, who repaired it, new or second hand parts used & how many miles it's covered after the crash (distance yourself from the crash)

My car is completely standard, black/gold in mint condition; it still has valid warranty (1 year) and has a FRSH. All new parts used to repair damage & damage was repaired by a Renault dealer. Receipts, invoices & pictures of the damage are also available.

It's just been serviced & checked by Renault, all good tires, new break pads, not a single stone chip or scratch, alloys are in very good condition and it's covered only 30k miles.

My asking price will be around the 14k mark.

We'll see how it goes.

If I can find a cat D going for a good price I'd buy it. But at the moment there seem to be none about, which is a shame.
