2001 MK2 PH2 1.2 16v With Aircon - Price Request!

Hi, considering selling my clio as i want to get a more powerful car, looking at corsa 1.8 sri's, can get insured on one for £800...bargain

Before i go any further i need to know roughly what my cars worth with/without mods.

2001 (51 plate) 1.2 16v Expression +
52000 Miles
Aircon
Recently had all new disks, pads and rear shoes


Mods
Lowered 60mm
Laguna 16inch wheels on 45 profile tyres
Sport Front Grill
Fogs Fitted but not connected

what year(plate) corsa are you looking at? the later models we're colour coded down the sides and loaded inside. leather etc. they do look very nice.

alot of the corsas ive seen have been 04/54 plate, not sure ill be lucky enough to have one with leather though lol

i looked at gettin a 172...but insurance i still very high for me on them, corsa is only something like 125bhp so insurance is cheap...cheaper than a 1.6 clio infact

keep your eye out for the leathered up 1.8's Russ. they are defo alot rarer than velour trimmed models but stunning if kept mint. yeah it's a bit mad how the insurance on corsa's are cheaper, the 1.8 SRi is insurance group 9 while a 1.6 Clio Dynamique etc is a 10. But my 1.6 Corsa B is a 10... :S

Sell the mods sereprate as unless you find a buyer who realy want them wn't get any more than standard car realy.

Maybe not much though £300 at best I'd think.

I'd hate a car without a warently which had air con its a pian to fix when it goes wrong.

My clio is group 8.....i think. The x18xe engine is very good by the way, dblias have brought a turbo kit for 2.5k i think which produces 180bhp and is uber reliable.

£2.5k will buy you a 170hp car though seems a waste IMO get a C20LET (or if you want find a Z20Let (electric thottle body) fitted costs will be more but 200hp stock.

just go for a 1.6 16v clio mate, 1.8 corsa will be faster straight line but handle pish compaired to the clio! so to be fair on the right road the clio would be faster in my opinion

id say about £3k mate!! i just bought my 1.2 dynamique, same age, same miles for £3400, and that was from a garage! could bump it up abit more with the air-con, it was very hard to find one with air-con, but in the end i had to settle with one that didnt! i cant say i would have payed much extra if it did have it though!
