2004 Clio Dci speedo connect/disconnect

  clio v6 phase 2
hi all -- looking for some technical help/info on my speedo disconnect issue on my 2004 1.5 Dynamique dCi.
The speedo/odo became an intermittent worker, and has now stopped for the last week. Any clues as to where I should start to look
for remedies, please??

Speed sensor or the wiring to the speed sensor, check the wiring up to the bay fusebox. Some retards splice into the white/purple wire for all sorts of strange s**t :)

If the speedo has bee dropping out for a while and finally failed, it very likely the speedo drive sensor.

The speedo drive sensor is located at the back of the gearbox.
