I have read a lot of different things on here and in the press about the new rs, and it seems that the new car is going to have a further developed F4R engine. The main question im wondering is the six speed box? Im persuming the block will remain unchanged on the new one, but they are going to put a 6-speed box on, so why cant we? obviously i know the box will be slighyly bigger but perhaps once there have been a few write offs some one might want to put the idea into pratice;-).

Clutch mounting is different the clucth will be bigger.
The greabox is the same as fitted to the new Clio 105 dci with different.
Best drop the whole engine and gearbox in if you wanted a 6 speed then again dropping a VAG 6 speeds a better idea.
