24k Service £180

Can anyone tell me what is done over and above the 12k service to justify an extra £35-40

Yep , phone around a few Renault stealers , you never know you might get it a lil cheaper . Bigger robbers than Dick Turpin

^^^I'm in the South Lakes Ulverston/Barrown area.

Just had the 24k service done. £158. Quite pleased with that. Had a chat with them and asked how could they charge a higher price for the same service as the 12k...they couldn't!

Also managed to get the 4000rpm buzz fixed (adjustment to the cat heat shield apparently).

One concern though is that they told me the rear pads were 60% worn! while the fronts are 25% worn. How can this be? I certainly haven't done any handbrake turns. Is it something to do with brake force distribution/lack of brake bias control valve, or is it something to do with a lack of ABS.
