2gb flash disk failure ?? neeeed help recovering it!!!

ok my mum has a 2gb usb key... has some work on it she needs, and stupidly she dont have a backup at all... disk when inserted says... disk you inserted was unable to be read... i need the stuff off of it is there any way to get it off... ????


please help lol she claims it just went all of a sudden... im not convinced but if there is a way to fix it would help me get some much needed brownie points lol

they can go (from experiance) from transfering computer to another computer....ie not the host comp.. pc world, or an independant might be able to make you a copy of whats on it

you might be able to recover it with a force mount under linux, but obviously only if you've got a linux install, as it can repair the load sector of the disk/flash device...
