3/4 plate that fits recess FTW

I thought mine looked ok and have had good comments about it but im thinking about changing both my plates to the new legal pressed plates they have just brought out from dubmeister

my front plate is the same size as barrons, and i love it.
3/4 plates look ok. filling the recess and cutting some off the height is best :)

what about the excess space above and below the numberplate on the rear.

would look horrible with one of those oversized rover (fake jag) style plates tho.

i saw a clio with a jap style plate. that looked 10x worse than a 3/4 plate.

Ha ha I was thinking of doing that at one point. I loved my jap plate on my old car and really like the size. Decided not to though for the clio as wouldn't fill the recess.

Lol, the gaps no where near that bad ! It would look utter crap with a smaller plate on it than it has.

I agree it makes the front look wider and more agressive however I do like the ones on Whiteley's.

^ see that to me looks a bit odd, if the boot didn't have the recess it would look better.

Paul, mine came from fancyplates.com, it's a 3/4 height x standard length. You give them whatever dimensions you want and it turns up in a nice jiffy bag a few days later. £16 posted I think it was.

That's what I want for mine, as you can still keep the legal requirements :)

What were your dimensions?

Love mine! Always had them on my 1.2, 172, and Vee...Mine's tiny! :) Care what people think!

^ see ones like that that fill the recess, but don't over hang at the bottom look nice.

It's the cut down length ones I can't get my head around.
