ok heres goes

Fault No1. intermittent starting issues. car is being used every day and seems to happen every other day. takes 4 longish turns of the key to get it started and when it does it screeches like a b**ch until you rev it over 3k rpm

Fault No2. Interrmittent horn failure spent a while sqealing while wet but now just give up whenever it wants to.

Fault No3. Rasping noise coming from engine imbetween 2.5k and 3k. runs as normal before or after these values

Fault No4. Little spots covering the interior mirror like the mirror has a rash

any ideas to any of them??

number 2, just replace your horn fella, cant be that expensive

No3. Heatsheild is loose. Just needs screwing back on.

Number 1 is your TDC sensor ontop of the flywheel. Common problem. If its not been replaced before you will need the sensor and loom. Just pop into a Renault garage, they have it on file anyway

screeching on startup would be your powersteering/altenator belt slipping,

just replace them for about £15.

no4, its an old car, bits will need replacing,

pop to a scrappy and get another one lol.
