Ive had my 182 and got rear ended last nite. damage doesnt look too bad but the floor is bent in the boot. Absolutly gutted :dapprove: :dapprove:

Paint work is never the same painted outside the factory.

Sore neck to go with it!!

Wounder.

Never nice, even worse when i's on a practically brand spanking new motor.

Hope it works out well. And if your neck is sore, get some compo.

Not bad enough to be a write off. Not sure whether to be gald or not. Think Im glad its not.

Boot floor is gently creased. Renault wanted to replace, but the local bodyshop(Quality outfit who i trust more) think its better not to butcher the car and to just replace the slam panel and straigten the floor as its not too bad.
What are peoples thoughts on this?? Anyone had the boot floor replace/straightened, must be reasonably common type of accident.

Glad am ok, and just want it fixed quickly as does everyone I suppose.

The boot floor?? Standard part that gets welded in, still producing them. (Its the cutting out but that bothers me!) Yeh there would be no replacement infenro182 for me, brand new anyway, but thats why am grateful its not too bad. Just the job of he colour match..... Had better be right!!

  Inferno 182 w/ Recaros ;)
thats what was worrying me, if god forbid anything ever happens to mine. hopefully it will be good motoring and go trouble free though.

hope you get yours sorted to like new cond.

f**k me your having a week like i had last week. I got arse ended at 25 mph by young lad.
Get your car to a specialist, not the approved repairer/bodger.
I had to fight to get this, but its your choice.
Phone BRITTANNIA get free car, i got 2.0 tdi golf.
Boot floor, keep original, as for showing on HPI thats b****cks car has to be financially written off to show.
Get yourself off to the doctors ASAP wether your well or not.
No doctors no whipplash claim, end of.
Get a good Solicitor that specialises in personal injury.
Mines up NORTH.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got it sorted yet???????????

Have decided not to take the car to Arnold Clark Bodyshop, dont trust them enough and dont really want the floor ripped out the car. Car is driveable so am ok at the moment. Been to casualty to get checked over. Not sure about claiming for personal injury, not really my thing, not got anything against people claiming for it, just want the motor back to looking sweet.

Gotta say Im amazed how well it held together. Only thing is because its stood up so well looks less dramatic than the accident was!!!

Cheers for the advice/concern everyone. Much appreciated as these are always difficult decisions.

Britannia no` 0800 1385485 if accident NOT your fault they will supply u with car and recover costs from other party.

Regarding claims re whiplash, you may not feel any ill affect at moment but it can take months to show up. ( i got injured at work, thought it was just a pulled muscle to start with, ended up having 4 months off & lost use of right arm for 2 of them, still having "chiro" at present cost me 000`s but got a good solicitor on the job)

DON`T ASSUME ANYTHING where there`s blame u can claim.
