Does the new Xbox 360 Slim carry 5.1 audio via the HDMI or do you need to use the optical connection?

er, every 360 with an HDMI port is capable of sending 5.1 via HDMI, its how i have mine set up.... HDMI from 360 S to tv then optical from TV to HT.
