36k Service = £225?

It's got something no Clio (V6 excepted) has, and it's got it by the bucket load...

Road presence...I was actually gawping at it - and I don't tend to get firm on the strength of good looking motors.

Forget the S3 Roy - far too predictable/boring/pipe+slippers IMO.

Stick with the Civic, stay here, and keep the banter going.

I've had enough of my local stealer, so I am booked into Rentech 16th June for my 36k @ £250. Fantastic.

Quick question for you all....

My 172 is 4 yrs old with 34k on it, do you do the belts etc now at £250, and leave the cambelt til next year, or add the cambelt, for a total of £590 now.

Got to make up my mind tonight, be interested in your thoughts.

I'm booked into Ren-Tech for the 26th May. Just purchased my car and its 5 years old and done 34k miles. After speaking to Mike at Ren-Tech, he recommended cam belt change so getting that done aswell.

I know nothing about mechanics etc, but I do know I want a car that won't break down and heard if the belt does go, it cost more in the end.

I plan to keep the car at least 3 years so I see it as an investment.

Also I gotta get to Portsmouth from Birmingham! :S
