Now if I could only get my 255 to 380bhp...

By the way he words the advert it looks like he got the 380bhp from just an Airbox!

380hp isnt imposible.

The race cars make 300hp with very little mods.

Not saying its impossible, just curious as to why the only mod mentioned is an airbox.

It would cost a heck of alot of money to go from 225bhp to 380bhp on a n/a engine.

Not to mention there another engine with 330bhp.

The owner might not even know the extent of the mods after all they might not care so long as it makes enough power to win races.

To go from 255 to 300 costs very little new ECU (remapped), exhaust, cams and cam springs. That should cost you about £2k maybe then stick head work, better manifold, IK should see maybe 350 for £3k but Im not 100% sure.

Would be amazing car to own sure there may be quicker cars out there but nothing quite looks like it.

Its a modified trophy car with throttle bodies and a sh*t load of engine work - its been frigteningly uncompetitive in the series.

Er on the figures !!

Owch I knew they would be bad but thats a shocking.

What series is it racing in? Are the figures reasonably accurate for power?

ahhh i know that car, they tried to salvage an engine sensor from my car at snetterton this year for it so they could run the bloody thing in quali. it was entered in the gt championship, and went through engines and parts like jodie marsh goes through boyfriends. definitely not worth the money, but the guys running it were mint.

Its a very good team - The cars up against some very strong opposition and living on the raged edge to compete, numbers are probably acurate - its probably overbored (3.3) so its only just over the 100bhp per litre mark.
