3d Studio Max - HELP

Does anyone use 3d studio max?

If so I need a favour, don't have it here at work but have a file which I would like to read using solid edge CAD software. Can I email someone the file and they save it as a different file type for me?

.iges or .stp might work...

I have studiomax R7. What format is the file?

Can only export from Max as .IGS.
