Just thought a few people on here maybe interested in the results. At best, I use 3DMark as a guide-line only - there are far too many variables of system builds to put in a true performance figure. It is also heavily CPU biased, so if you have a decent CPU (re: Intel) then your figures should be higher against a comparible AMD system.
My specs are as follows:-
AMD X2 6400+ Black Edition CPU
Asus M2N32-SLi mobo
4x 1GB OCZ Spec-Ops memory DDR-800
SoundBlaster X-Fi Fatality audio
Sapphire ATi4870 graphics card
2x 320GB Seagate SATA's in RAID0
Windows XP Pro 32-bit
SM2.0 Score 5,145
HDR/SM3.0 Score 6,073
CPU Score 2,451
Overall score 11,759
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
SM2.0 Score 5,185
HDR/SM3.0 Score 6,243
CPU Score 2,279
Overall score 11,652
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
SM2.0 Score 5,165
HDR/SM3.0 Score 6,173
CPU Score 2,254
Overall score 11,547
Non of the hardware is overclocked at all - just factory settings. And all of the scores were generated by just running the 3DMark test immediately - no tweaking of settings, etc.
