When my car is cold i have trouble selecting 3rd gear, usually on the down shift.
I changed my gearbox oil about 5 months back with proper renault gearbox oil.( I have a small leak from the gear selector seal)
I refilled it today till it started seeping out the filler and it took about 1/3 of a litre.
I checked my clutch cable while the airbox was out for the gear oil refill and noticed that its 'very easy' to remove it from its forked lug.
Is this normal?
I was thinking that it should be a bit of an effort to remove it.......yeah/no?
Could i be needing a new cluth cable or is it the start of a gear box issue?
Any ideas anyone?
