40mm or 60mm

so what is best? 40mm apex or 60mm spax?

My Pi springs are fu**** and i need a new kit. Drive about 250miles a week so want a kit that aint going to scrub my 17" tyres! Would like to go 60mm but really need to know my tyres will not need replacing every 5000miles! What you guys say?

ive got a mk1 172 lowered 40mm on apex springs and its great, nice ride, handles superb

Highly recommend 60mm Pi

personnaly i wouldnt touch spax with a barge pole!!!!!

Springs are well rusted all round and the rear top coils seem to be resting on each other. There is also a knocking sound from the rear and i think this is the cause. Not pleased at all! Only had them on a year and a half!

Do Pi make a full kit because i have never seen this kit for sale?

Has anyone had problems with excessive tyre wear on the 60mm kit?

no tyre wear problems, as long as you get the alingment done after lowering
