Need a second opinion on this one, I’m not convinced

So I’ve got my 182 in a local garage to replace some bushings and the CV boot on one side. I knew the antirollbar bushings were shot, as was the CV boot, and the garage agreed. But when I also said the track rod end needed doing on the passenger side, the same side as the CV boot, I’ve been told there’s no play and it’s fine. I even mentioned on the phone that last time I was under the car I took a picture to remind me what needed doing, and it looked like a track rod end. He assured me it was the anti roll bar and that it had been done. Now look at this picture, I’m not going insane right? That squashed bushing you can see is the track rod end

Am I somehow badly mistaken here or has he somehow ignored this for some reason? It doesn’t make sense

Knew it. Yeah I don’t know what he’s thinking looking at that bushing and saying it’s alright just because it doesn’t have play. I’ve bought new ones for both sides and I’ll have them changed, don’t think I’ll rush back to this garage in the future. Didn’t think this kind of thing would have been too much of a problem it’s pretty standard stuff. Stick to the specialist nearest to me next time.
