4mb to 2mb broadband - noticeable difference??

I mainly surf and download music, photos, email etc - looking to save a bit of cash, would it be much of a noticeable difference going down to 2mb from 4mb??

not that much really, as and when I think of something.

2mb is £18 and 4mb is £25 on Telewest
Holy s**t. Switch providers.

If you can get Be they offer upto 24Mb for £18, but you can get cheaper services than that. Or is that with cable?

It's cable - I don't have a BT phone line either - just got the cable tv/broadband/landline package. It is unlimited downloads too.

It's with Virgin.

Steve - can't get Sky on the flats.

I tried ringing to cancel - I ended up in an argument with some pedantic bloke, cancelled the whole tv package in the end as he annoyed me - but they never cut it off so got to ring them again...

I work for Virgin and if you go through to retentions and say you are leaving they will probably offer you

2mb - £10 a month
4mb - £17 a month

Combine it with a few services and you will get more off. Havent been at work this week and havent looked at retention deals for a few weeks but think they have it at the moment where you can get the 2mb broadband, phoneline and the M TV for £20 a month
