50/50 wax ?

Any good ?

I really need some new wax and im not sure i want a liquid wax tbh. Tempted to go for some saphir or whatever its called.

V good, i barely see a difference between 50:50 and my Mystery. And thats 5 times the price.

No tried it yet, bought half a tub off a lad, 70£ My ONXY was buggered, left it in my detailing bag in the front of the vee and it melted, wasn't the same after!

For the money the 50/50 is a good, The Swissvax offerings all look better but even the Onyx is 15 quid more.

I did some tests half and half with Zymol Carbon and prefered the 50/50.

Cant remember which side was which now - in the flesh the CG looked better. Neither came close to Onyx. Which in turn looks not that much different to Saphir, BOS, Mystery, Destiny, Concours etc ....


Why all this liquid wax talk ?

Who cars about durability...You clean ur car enough to apply onece every 2wks or so! No hard!

I never tried it on my daily drive, I just stick to Jeffs and #16 - it is silver so using expensive stuff is a waste of product!

Liquid wax talk - i need a new wax as my purple haze is almost finished now. Liwuid wax would have been more convenient that getting my butter knife and spreading the wax over the finishing pad via g220.

yer your right Ali, f**k it, its either 50/50 or Sapphir. I wax it every 2-3 weeks.

Sod applying waxes by machine, much quicker by hand.

I would not bother with Saphir, stick with Onyx or find some extra for BOS.

Will be interesting to see the diff between the ONYX and the Mystery!

I could see none looks wise the other day when I wacked a coat on the GiT after I had finished machining it.

The BOS and Mystery come into there own after a wash though when they look as good as just applied.

We shall see. I love it with no wax on it tbh! Blitz is an awesome seal. Onto 3rd coat now! Flake is amazing more so on the new paint! lol.

Loved it on my black 182...petes 53' was good too..sold both when i got rid of the car..
