Brake Discs

Hi guys,
My 182 needs new discs all round this is going to be my first time doing brake works on a car, really just looking for any advice on doing them on a 182 mine's a ff I don't think that makes a difference here. so Firstly, I've seen that some come with and some without the bearing for the back ones so if someone could recommend what ones will be able to done the easiest so without access to a bearing press etc and if there's other parts whilst I'm there worth doing like the soft lines. Also what brand people have gone with themselves looking for a middle to high end one don't really want to cheap out when it comes to brakes but also don't want to break the bank. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. :)

I'd go with rear discs with the bearings already in place, so much easier than trying to press a bearing in etc. Fronts and rears I would go with Brembo which are a decent brand and good value, if you go too cheap on the rear the bearings will be rubbish. Just remember to put the spacer/washer back on when you do the rear! Also the rears will need the ABS ring on as you have a 182.

Brembo and pagid are both pretty good. As above make sure you fit the spacers on the rear, and be prepared for a fight with the disc retaining screw on the front. While you're there I'd have a look at the rubber boots on the slider pins.

Pick a set of rear discs with bearings in, oem renault is best for them if available.

You will need a windback tool for rear calipers.

Windback tool will be handy, although if the pistons aren't too tight you can use the shank of decent screwdriver and wedge it in the slot of the piston face and push/turn clockwise.

@WillR26

Get these front brake pads.
