55-250is first shots..

Well, I couldn'ta afford L glass and had to settle for a fairly budget lens.. well.. probably one of, if not the cheapest Canon zoom!!

It was a good test of camera and lens ability. The sun was going down, the light was low and being a slow lens I thought I was going to struggle getting clean shots. ISO was bumped up to 1600, and shutter speed of 1/500. Overall I was impressed with both the camera and lens ability to get the shots it did with the avaliable light. I can highly recommend the 55-250is to anyone on a budget.

They look pretty sharp to me JJ, think you made the right choice with the lens mate! Awkward with the lighting, but even at the high ISO they look to have come out well at this size. :)

Yeah, there defiantly printable up to A4 before you start to see the noise. Hopefully I can do some lower iso shooting this weekend!
