Kind of wish Discovery kept Bear Grylls: Born Survivor, going loved that show.
I saw that advert too for Fifth Gear, was a bit odd with the sort of slow mo, impersonating Top gear style of advert.

I'm glad I saw this thread or i'd have just ignored it thinking it's a repeat of the last Ch5 series.
Even though it says new to Discovery, i've got used to the fact that it doesn't always mean it's a new series to the UK.

Thought to myself (at 7.45) I'll have a shower then Watch fifth gear on channel five in the bedroom
Got in the shower, Completely forgetting that fifth gear is discovery only.

Managed to see a white Porsche then adverts fml!

I thought it was a really good start. Far better than the 20min episodes (by the time the adverts were done) on 5. Also much better than s**t Gear...

Another good episode imo.
I really do think Suzuki are missing a big trick with the Swift though. I think it could make a brilliant hothatch if they gave it 200bhp or so...

The ESC bit was interesting, although i'm not sure my car would react in the same way as the Aygo at 70mph.
The thing flipped over because of its massive amounts of body roll and soft as sh*t suspension,
i've swerved like that at 70 to avoid debris on the motorway, the dog kennel pissed it with ease.

It's not flocked any more, I wiped all the sh*te off for CSS,
everyone was disappointed it wasn't as dirty as they'd hoped. lol
The back's still all kinds of f*cked up though, but that's where the dog lives
so there's no point in even trying to keep it clean.

Exactly that. I said to my wife about it and she thought the same. Some parts I couldn't hear at all. Bad production.
Yep music was definitely louder than the voice overs,
it was really noticeable on the Panda team test.
