So, i thought i'd post a few better pictures up of the Polo now it's had a quick polish (nothing fancy, i'll detail it in a few weeks)... I've still yet to raise it - was going to do it this weekend but with it being bank holiday and the weather being good i went out on the motorbike instead.

When i bought it the car had a little running fault, which has cost me a fiver to fix and it also needs a wheel bearing which i intend to do this week. I'm gradually starting to like it more and more, but it's taken some getting used to coming from the e46 330ci...

Looks great! Makes me miss my old 6n2 GTI they are great as a warm hatch/cheap daily. I'd happily own another

It's awesome as a cheap daily, my ~£70 per week from the 330 has turned into £30 per week. Can't grumble at that!

Just need to sort that front number plate too!

Can't complain with that! I love it how they have aged well too, they look so retro.
