Hey everyone!! First post, first thread, first car, basically you know the gist by now...

Here is my new mk2 1.2 16v Dynamique clio...I'm in love already. Oh by the way it's called Rusko.

I bought it in May...started learning to drive in June...passed in July...and now I'm here in September. It's been emotional!

Basically...I want opinions and also some ideas for improvement; some modifications have been made already...so I'm open to suggestions lads

Get some nice wheels on it, lower it a little and you're set.

Oh, and get a new cover for the wiper, it looks awful with a hole in it. Otherwise, lovely little motor.

Yeah I'm deliberating as to whether I should attempt a refurb on my set of alloys or just go ahead and buy a set...Suggestions?

Oh and with regards to the wiper blade cover...I haven't really looked into it but do you have any idea where I'd pick one up?

With alloys it's normally a case of turini's or nothing. Personally I think the 1.2's suit bbs reps quite nicely.

I've had a quick look on ebay for the cover and can't find one, scrapyard is your best bet. Pull up, and then to the right to fully remove.

Well I think I'll have a go at refurbing mine as I can't see what harm it can do...not sure what colour to hit them up with though...?

Oh and cheers for having a gander on fleebay for the wiper cover...might just have to venture to my local scrapheap and salvage some bits..might pick up an offside fog while I'm at it!

Yeahh...not sure what happened there haha! Do you know which one's they are so I can match them lol

The drivers side is the correct colour, grey is later Clios and the black ones are from early facelift clios

I sort of prefer the black one though....other than the backing colour they are basically identical right?

nice starting car, clean and to be honest i think there good cars, cheap to run and not to bad to drive.

i prefer the black headlights as they blend to the car nice and look cleaner in my opinion

Yeah I need to get the offside one to match the nearside...as I too prefer the black; it's going to cost about £40 by the looks of it unless if I can either get a half decent one form a breakers yard...or even better one from someone off here

yea, thats the problem, there costly unless you know the right people. or thats what i'm finding anyways.

on other cars ive owned, ive just joined as many forums as possible to see what i can get and for how much. haha
