A quick pic' of one of my refurb'd Aliums

This was the worst wheel with scarring around the rim and a gouge out of each fin on the spokes. I did intend to only paint this wheel completely and blend the rims on the others but I couldn't be arsed with the hassle in the end so I did them all.

The rims aren't 100%, i'd say nearer 90% but once fitted, you'll never know. The colour match is very good, just a little more flake in the centre cap but hey ho, no complaints for about £20 in materials.

Now onto the Turinis.

No mate. I used a fine surface filler, similar to stopper. Built that up gradually, a couple of coats of hi-build primer then colour.

what paint did you use mate? i need to re do mine and im either going dark or really bright silver like yours

Just seen this Russ. I used Carplan Silver 18. In their colour guide it is classed as a very close match for 647 Gris Titane. The only difference is there is slightly less flake.

£3.20 a can and I used 5 cans.
