its not worth 20k, its a mk1, and even mint ones go for 14k now

yeh but you can spray them, most of us would have to pay someone to do it, hence costing another 5k, and like you say it will probably go up anyway

always makes you think though when they say " ah baby forces sale, company car forces sale, job plans mean i cant continue with the project " etc etc

with a car like that, the amount of work hes put into it already makes you think that hes found something that he didnt know to start with.. possibly twisted shell, bent chassis, panels not alligned properly etc.

definatly had to go have a look at it before thinkin of puttin a bid in

Would be spot on, as long as you can do all the work yourself otherwise it aint gona be worth it and will cost loads more.
