A weaponised Ford Escort RS2000...

I put a couple of stills of this beast in the "Cars spotted" thread, didn't plan to but had my GoPro with me on the day so filmed what I could in case I could make anything of it...and the new 7 Black excelled, stability, lighting, and especially the sound, both inside and outside of the moving noisy car.

So I had to make something of it...it gives me goosebumps watching it back

I'm NOT a good passenger! I thought he was/we were really motoring but watching it back it's clear he only got near full boost on a handful of occasions and only momentarily at that as he immediately backed out of it. Understandable really LOL

I grew up with a 1.1 Popular Plus Escort, of this era, in this exact original colour so there was a bit of a draw from me based on that. He'd told me all about it but until I got up close I didn't realise just how much detail there was and how much effort had gone into the build.

As you say, once it did get up and go it was 100% f****** mental in every way.

I may have to make a dedicated video on it as I'm annoyed I didn't capture all the engineering details as I was too busy enjoying the day.

Yeah would be great to see/know the full spec. Looks a lovely build with great attention to detail.
