AAARRRGGGHHHH wheres my alarm?!?

I thought all 2 172's came with an alarm? i have the normal press-key and nothing happens when i rock the car or pull the door handle....

Are there any sensors of the top of the a pillars and an led by the gearstick?, if not no alarm.
If its an import it won't have one.

as said only ones sold through the uk had the alarm fitted. but mine doesnt have the alarm but it is a uk car , i spoke to matt black about it and he confirmed my cars a proper uk one just been bought in eu or somet but the code on the door say 5 i think and that means uk model

I thought ALL 172/182's that entered the country (as a uk car) were fitted out with an alarm before they were first sold?

well mine aint got the led in the center thingy , i thing any that got sent to this country by renault did , but if a private buyer ordered one then it didnt

They were fitted at the import centre afiak.

just cos its a shows a /5\ on the oval plate may mean its UK spec as mine does, but its still probably an import - isnt an issue.
