Abs, stop and service lights on! Please help again..

  Clio 172 cup
Hi

I had a problem last week with my airbag and service light coming on for no reason and after posting my problem on here a few guys let me know it was a wiring issue under the passenger seat.. A quick wriggle and all was well again..

After having a particularly s**te day at work today I jumped into my much loved Cup 172 (2003) and started my drive home... Only to find that when I switched on my headlights my dash looked like something out of close encounters!!

The abs, stop, service and handbrake lights all came on. After voiding my bowels, I pulled over and sussed that this only happens with the main beam on, not the side lights and it does seem intermittent as at one point all of the warning lights went out after alternating between side/main. Only to come on again later.

I know nothing about cars, electrics or Clio's so any help/advice would be gratefully received...

I did do a quick search and sensor issues near the handbrake?? Popped up a couple of time.. but as above, any help, please....:S

Sorry to bug again but I ain't got a clue about the above post.... Could anyone give any suggestions or point me in the direction of a good Dealer/Specialist in Devon?

I live in Plymouth but I'll travel if anyone has had a "good" experience of getting good service with regard to Clio electrical problems..

This happened to me, turned out it was my LED rear bulbs werent drawing enough current. Could be that you have a faulty rear bulb. Give them a check or even renew them. Might help? :)

Thanks for the reply mate... It turned out that it was just a bad earth from the battery.... I took it to a local garage owned by a mate of a mate and he sorted it in about 20min..

So it would have been a great day had the washing machine decided to flood the kitchen and cost me a nice chunk for a new one..lol
