Accessory Belt

I take it this is just a normal fan belt? I know reno say you have to replace it a 36k but Ive never heard of having to do it at a specific mileage. So what should I do replace it as Im now sitting at 40k or just wait for it to start squeling like every other car on the road?

replacement at 36,000 miles i think is only applicable to the 172.everything else its 72,000 miles,same as the cambelt.
