Acclerating/Revving noises in the air vent?

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
Just noticed this last night, when i turned off my music and drove.

When i pull off in 1st, theres no sound coming from the passenger side air vent, but when i move up to 2nd gear and begin to accelerate, i can hear a slight 'brooooooooooom' sound in what seems like its coming from the air vent.

It doesn't happen in any other gears.

I've checked my air vents but doesn't seem to be anything in them.

Any ideas?

Really annoying when i have my music down, i can hear it!! Want rid of it! :(

By the way, its only sometimes!

isn't it just the sound of your engine you can hear?

did you have the aircon on at the time, or were the fans off?

The bonnet release grommet hasn't come out has it? That usually lets quite a bit of noise into the cabin.

Just sounds like interference. Turn the CD player off completely.....

Im having this problem! I had to remove the grommet to make way for some sub wiring. How can i rectify this problem? any fillers I can use? Cheers...

when you said you checked the wiring before what exactly did you look at?
take the amp fuse out or just disconnect it anywhere and see if the noise goes

Yeah i realised that! lol...

But, i drove the car today to work, and the sound is coming from in front of me now, sounds like the air vent by the bottom of the from windscreen! :S
