Acer Laptop and memory

I have an Acer 3690 laptop and want to upgrade the memory (running Vista doesn't help) and saw this memory on play

Is it compatible ? or where can i find out if it is Also am i right in thining 800mhz will be quicker than leeser numbers ?

the memory on the link you posted should work fine, however it being 800mhz wont make any difference as the front side bus speed of your laptop is 533mhz so whatever you put in it will only run at this speed
