Actinic Ecommerce Software

I'm a web designer and have built a few stores using CubeCart which for all of you don't know, is an out of the box shopping cart package to sell online.

There are a few bugs and limitations i've found with CubeCart which can get well frustrating so have had a look around and come across Actinic.

The software runs on your PC and updates your store online. I gave them a call this morning and it does sound like the next step up with ecommerce websites which I do and can be easily modified using CSS.

Any web designers or store owners here who have used it, or recommend any other solutions as the version of Actinic I want costs £799!!

When I used it I didn't like it at all, seemed quite restrictive and all the websites look very much the same that you produce.

This was a good few years back now though.

Yeah it's come on a bit ive found, you can fully customise now.

there will always be alot of back end fiddling and personalising though whatever ecommerce software you use.

Its a nice idea to have it run on the pc and update the store online.
