Adjust inlet camshaft

Hi, DIYing cambelt change. Timing is out slightly.

What's the best/safest way to adjust the camshafts? Thanks.

Sorry misread you were doing it, read it as had been done.

But, if you're asking how to do it, I'm willing to bet you're doing it wrong I'm afraid.

How come? Surely it's just a case of rotating the camshaft very slightly so that they slot into the renault camshaft locking tool, then locking the pulleys with the renault pulley locking tool?
Following guide on here as well as the renault workshop manuals.

The guide on here is wrong anyway. I've yet to see one that's been done at home correctly!
